The Issues Shoe rack in front blocks walkway, and shoes don't stay on it very well No "zones" for regularly used items Poor lighting Shelves in back are too hard to get to, so they don't get used

The Solution: Rethink the layout and the current use of space. Create zones for everyday items. We removed the shelves from the back of the closet and moved the rod back a few inches to create more walk-in space An enclosed, hanging shoe rack keeps the small children's shoes contained and keeps the walkway free Arranging the coats in color order helps to give the space a more cohesive and clean look Installing hooks along the walls makes great use of the vertical space and keeps everyday items off of the floor We installed a battery operated LED light to brighten the area
